left san diego at 3pm...arrived arizona 12:30 am

The adventure begins. the plan: drive to flagstaff thursday night. friday morning: visits to the painted desert and the grand canyon..then sleep at the golden nugget in laughlin..relax there for a day, then head for vegas. return to Sunny D sunday night....But let me tell you, woohoo....so far we almost ran out of gas twice in the middle of nowhere, Maggie says there is a lot of "historic businesess" in arizona, and there are bugs trying to enter our a/c heaven all the time!!!...damn desert people..how could human life survive here!!
